Pilates is a challenging low-impact and intelligent form of workout, involving smooth flowing exercises which are performed by connecting the mind to the body through controlled and precise movements.

This method was developed by German-born Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected, and practising Pilates has been proven to improve overall wellbeing as well as general fitness.

Pilates has tremendous benefits and is suitable for everyone regardless of fitness level, age, size, or any other factor.

Incorporating a Pilates practice into your training regimen can greatly support and enhance any endeavour you take on. It helps you move and breathe through your daily activities with more freedom and power and less pain.

Whether you’re seeking to feel better, improve your mobility range, flexibility and strength, stay healthy and fit, tone up, cross-train, or enhance your sports performance- amongst other goals; Pilates can positively affect your quality of life.

The Pilates repertoire, which includes mat and specialized equipment exercises, is made up of over 600 exercises and variations. The system allows for different exercises to be modified and adjusted in range of difficulty (from beginner to advanced) or to any other level, and also in terms of the instructor and practitioner’s specific goals and/or limitations.
